There's no subtle way to put this. The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales has named me the top current twitter accounting influencer:

I have to admit, not everyone might aspire to be this, and I very much doubt I'll be dropping this into conversation too often, but there is another reason for noting this. I am delighted that second on the list is Alex Cobham. That means a founder of the Tax Justice Network and its current CEO are the top two accounting influencers right now. And that does, I think, say something.
