There’s now law for the rich.
But no law for the poor.
The ConDems are to deny access to legal aid to hundreds of thousands with family, housing and employment issues.
So, landlords can abuse. Employers will abuse. And children will be abused. But the victims won’t be known to Cameron, Clegg and Osborne. So that’s all right then.

And unions will be less able to represent their members, since most of the costs of union legal assistance are carried by legal aid.
In the real world many employers pay no attention to law anyway, and most employees will take no action anyway. Having a job is better than being pedantic.
Most private landlords ignore legislation and action against them is frequently a waste of time.
And since funding for many of the “help” organisations is also being cut assistance from them is going to be hard to get.
I note that the government say that cutting housing benefit means that rents will fall……………a statement showing either ignorance or disinterest.
