The Tories on the side of widespread tax avoidance, and dodgy financial indstruments? What a surprise! Wouldn’t it be great if their approval for the financial jiggery-pokery that’s produced the current mess was widely known by the general public. Then their ridiculous claims to be the party of financial prudence and ‘thrift’ could be exposed for the rubbish they are. Oh hang on, I forgot; Cameron would give us thrift alright – for the public sector and less well off, but not for his rich friends, who’ve been bailed out by the selfsame public sector and ordinary workers.
I have a feeling that, come-what-may, they will be in at the next election…
