Why tax?

Ever since I wrote my book 'The Joy of Tax', I have argued that there are six reasons to tax, none of which have anything to do with raising revenue to fund central government in a country like the UK.

Getting this on an infographic took some work. I hope I have succeeded. Please let me know:
