This is even better, but I’m not sure how to access it except via Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/PatrioticMillionaires/videos/1643177482371735/?hc_ref=ARTF-TNLRUyY0cyW4ScAzESGoRdqesEVE6nCmelLUzP9DBbY4PuPVk_VuJU4MjT5SSE&pnref=story
Hi Carol,
That’s not as funny as Colbert but its quite good and interesting nonetheless. For those not wanting to use Facebook here is the You Tube version of the same clip:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKJpx3-Zwdg
And, as an added bonus, here is the same guy (Eric Schoenberg) taking Fox News to task once again on the subject of the Trump tax cuts:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zX-X5f0Cq5o
Now these aren’t funny (or not meant to be) but they are is interesting – 2 official Australian Government free-to-air TV advertisements telling viewers that the conservative Coalition government is:
“introducing new laws, closing loopholes and ensuring profits are taxed here”…
that “large multinational corporations that move undeclared profits overseas will be penalised with a tax of 40%
” because if its earned here, it should be taxed here”.

So the moral argument is won there. Australia’s Tory equivalents are telling people everything they want to hear about multinational corporate tax avoidance (no mention of wealthy individuals). They are talking the talk on one account – but are they walking the walk?
Despite some progress, not really, not yet:

Interesting?
Thanks
Appreciated
