You don’t mind when your friends at the Guardian avoid taxes for some reason. Why is that?
Simple.
They didn’t avoid tax.
What they did was completely tax compliant- the government intended all companies to have this relief
Avoidance is getting round the law or using it in unintended ways
The Guardian did not
