Cameron obfuscates on tax avoidance

Posted on

Listen here to the BBC's John Humphry's challenging David Cameron on tax avoidance.

In his defence was putting money into pension funds was acceptable.

But he'd do nothing to condemn Sir Philip Green and and his tax avoidance.

But he did say he'd avoid dealing with such people in future.

That's some progress.

Shame his party couldn't vote for measures to tackle  tax avoidance in the EU last week in that case.

And what a shame those like the CBI and its defenders can't say the same thing.
