In his defence was putting money into pension funds was acceptable.
But he'd do nothing to condemn Sir Philip Green and and his tax avoidance.
But he did say he'd avoid dealing with such people in future.
That's some progress.
Shame his party couldn't vote for measures to tackle tax avoidance in the EU last week in that case.
And what a shame those like the CBI and its defenders can't say the same thing.

It would be interesting to know if and how your proposed GAAR would have been able to attack the suggested tax avoidance of Green.
If Green had so obviously avoided tax, you would have thought that HMRC would have attacked it, albeit using the court route.
No one knows enough about how Green structured his affairs to answer that question
And the BBC has now apologised to Green for the insinuations contained in the Cameron-Humprey interview.
