I am doing an SNP Conference fringe meeting with Steve Keen and others, admittedly via a Zoom link, soon after 9 this morning.

Ah you and Steve Keen – sounds good. You both need to get on the main news instead of all the numpties there at present whittering on about fiscal rules, the debt etc!!
Are there better terms to use than deficit or debt to describe govt finances? At present when the terms are used people associate both as being bad as with a household deficit or debt.
What would you suggest?
