Several people commented after yesterday's post about adding audio to this blog that I could post audio versions of the YouTube videos that we produce to this site.
We do, in fact, post an audio-only version of every YouTube video we produce at the same time the video is published. On average, about 200 people listen to that output on Podbean alone every day. We have no idea how many more do so through other channels.
By chance, this turned up as an email this morning:
These audio podcast files are widely available. You can find the Podbean site here.
And, as they explain, you can find the material on many other podcast sites as well, some of which I have heard of and some I have no clue about. Podbean lists them as follows. I think we are on Apple Music as well.
And there are 800 to choose from. Enjoy, as the saying goes.

Hello again Richard; I plug an iPhone into a USB port in my electric van and enjoy your Blogs via Podbean as I make my way to work.
AND my phone gets charged as I listen!
Maybe when I acquire a chauffeur-driven Roller I can watch you as well.
Meantime, Podbean is almost as good as hearing you speak in person at events such as ScotEconFest.

I listen on Pocket Casts every morning while taking the dog out for a first walk. Great improvement on years ago when it would have been Radio 4’s Today programme! KUTGW as many write here.

I can’t find your ‘Funding the Future’ on Apple Podcasts, hopefully that is an easy fix, I’d love to see you reach as many people as possible. (There are a few ‘funding the future’ podcasts on the Apple app but they are from different folks).
I will check this.
