I took time off over the weekend, whilst doing a lot of reading on money, seeking to find ways to reconcile chartalist (MMT) and Marxist positions on this issue via Foucault.
It was a weekend for big, East Anglian skies:

And windmills:

Chiffchaffs were hiding in trees:

As were comma butterflies:

Avocets (the most elegant of birds) were out in the open:

And the dandelions were magnificent, as ever:

Without breaks like this, writing here would not happen.
Most pictures were at Welney; the windmill was at Wicken Fen.
