Savour this, based on this morning's YouGov poll results, already mentioned once:

There is no right-wing majority in this. There is only a rainbow coalition.
Game on, as the saying goes. And no one can say they are not playing. They have no choice.

Wow – a Green-led anti-Reform coalition would have a majority if this happened!

Sorry Richard – I couldn’t help myself!

Post May, starmer will go. What happens then will determine if LINO turns back into Labour or remains LINO. If they have any sense they will take the PR route. My guess is, they won’t. If they do, then it possible that the Tories and Deform will merge (possible) and in 2027 the result will probably be some sort of coalition. That said, if the LibDems think they are going to keep going with neo-libtard lite they have another think coming.
In betimes there will probably be a couple of LINo and perhaps tory MPs that throw in the towel – & depending, the Greens may do well again. May election for Wales & Scotland will be unrepresentative since Plaid and the SNP are likely to be the main parites that voters focus on. LINO wipe out in Wales is likely and certainly in the South Wales, Deform could win seats. Deform has shown their “competance” (lack thereof) in Local gov, so voters might not support them. Be interesting to see what the MSSM come out with (MSSM: Mainstream Shit Streak Media – reflecting what they are – horrible, useless, vile lairs, part of the establishment that has destroyed the UK over 45 years).)
The swing is simple to explain – in general people seek hope not hate. Hate may arise from desperation and misdirection, but it is not who we are as a majority. A smaller swing than the latest polling change would put Greens in the lead, and then our expectations for the next government are transformed.
Meanwhile, Restore Britain look like they have their fingers firmly OFF the pulse.
IMHO, both Plaid Cymru and the SNP are progressive parties. I welcome their success! The Greens will work with them.
