The FT noted this yesterday afternoon:
Let me be clear: an investigation is not proof of guilt, and I am not suggesting that there is any such thing here.
But what I do note is something very significant. The idea that power may not be challenged does appear to be coming to an end. The patriarchs of neoliberalism appeared to think that they were above scrutiny. What is becoming clear is that this is no longer the case. Those with power are being stripped of their illusions that money buys immunity, if nothing else. The world will be a better place for that.

If his recent ‘truths’ are anything to go by Donald certainly believes his previous employment insulates him from accountability.
Also this facinating interview with a European Central Bank executive board member, Frank Elderson, in yesterday’s FT. ”Destroy nature and you destroy the economy”. ”72 per cent of eurozone companies and three-quarters of bank loans in the region are exposed to loss of biodiversity”.
Another straw ahead of building winds of charge? One has to look for the positive.
