Dyson, a prominent supporter of Brexit, criticised the government’s “ever higher tax bills” for the private sector and regulations, saying it is imposing “tax upon tax on companies in the belief that penalising the private sector is a free win at the ballot box”.
“This is as shortsighted as it is stupid,” Dyson wrote in the Telegraph on Thursday. “In the global economy, companies will simply choose to transfer jobs and invest elsewhere
“Starting with the spring budget in March, it must incentivise private innovation and demonstrate its ambition for growth,” Dyson wrote.
The arguments don’t change. De-regulate, cut the size of the state, cut taxes on the entrepreneurs and the country will flourish.

It is not penalising companies by making them pay their proportion of tax relative to the stability of the country in which they are operating.
It seems to me that the Tories want a low tax economy with the consequential effects of being an unstable country where public unrest is always just simmering below the surface.
Looking at our European neighbours they appear to be prospering better than the U.K. simply because they are able to offer an environment where social justice and humane policies are recognised and fostered and the threat of social unrest is accommodated even despite todays action in France.
Instead in the U.K. we have confrontation with working people, the exacerbation of which appears to be the policy of the Tory government, in the hope that they can diminish public dissent and thereby encourage private sector investment.
Sadly no one has told them that such policies deter business investment and leave the U.K. an outpost in the modern world.
