I have just noted this, recently published by the International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation:
I know the new board is advising on sustainability reporting, but surely someone who knew something about sustainability might have been of use on there? Or is this not really about sustainability at all?

They are just the chairs of the various working groups. Nothing more. Their only job is to chair meetings and report.
That said, who in your opinion would be more suited for such roles? Yourself?
I made it clear I wanted people who knew about sustainability
Who are those people then?
I’m sure IFRS will listen to your demands. It is incredibly important that a committee chair whose role is only to chair meetings and report on the findings of the experts in those committees needs to be an expert themselves.
Maybe you are just too used to working on your own, forgetting that back in the real world that isn’t how these processes operate. There are thousands of experts out there – you don’t need one as the committee chair.
But there is no skills balance and that makes no sense
I know quite a lot about managing organisations and homogeneity is not good
Having chaired quite a number of organisations in my time I have some very clear ideas on this
Perhaps their concern is the sustainability of the current corrupt status quo.
All members are part of a global financial services elite. Is this simply an expression of concerns how to preserve status quo in a global climate of increasing environmental awareness?
