I am on holiday for a week from tomorrow.
I know this does not usually stop me blogging.
But I intend to be quiet for a few days. It's a been frantic period.

Enjoy your rest – you do so many things that it will be difficult to do nothing, but if you do things you really enjoy with those whom you love, wow, what a refreshment!
Richard, if anyone deserves or needs a break it’s you, judging by the volume of work you get through. Are you going anyewhere nice, or just relaxing at home?
By and large supporting sons in endeavours – some away!
“If anyone deserves a break you do”??
Richard is a hobbiest blogger who seeks charity… compare that to those doing the heavy lifting I.e having a 50 hour week working on a building site, an oil rig an office or wherever.. pleasel people get real
Dammit, and I thought I was a university professor
But apparently I’m wrong
Terry, Richard has doesn’t just blog; he does an enormous amount of other work as an acedemic, a political campaigner, an author etc.
His work, in cooperation with many others, has also borne fruit in various tax initiatives brought into being such as country to country reporting, BEPS etc.
All of which are just as noteworthy, or more so, than the work examples you note. But I suppose you just wanted to make a silly childish insult didn’t you? Even the language you use is infantile. Fool.
I try…
And I do so (and get the proverbial for it) because somewhere deep down I think making the world a fairer place is what makes my life worth living – and this is how I try to achieve it
I may not always get it right (I know) but I try
Go for it.
I’m to the Lakes for a week myself.
Have fun
Enjoy your respite!
Thanks
Enjoy your week Richard – and switch off – if you ever can!
That’s my aim
Hope you enjoy your break, assume once you’ve seen that Jon Thompson is standing down as Chief Exec of HMRC, and more importantly, where he’s going, we can expect, a comment.

Let me as generous as I can be: he’s not straight from the Big 4
I think that’s it…
