Compass calls for Plan B + 1

A year ago the Compass think tank published its Plan B for the economy. I was one of the authors. Together the authors rejected austerity as a way forward and set out a plan for a new economic agenda.

A year on Compass has now published Plan B + 1. Written by my friend and sometimes colleague Howard Reed, it makes clear that we were right to argue for Plan B a year ago, and now need to go further as the problem of recession is getting worse and the need for action gets ever more pressing.

The conclusion of the report says this, but I suggest it's worth reading the whole thing:
