Now of course the Mint could be printing Euros for Greece.
Or is it printing drachmas, just in case?

The Royal Mint doesn’t print anything. It makes coins.
Drachmas?
Not sure. They do make circulating coins for many other countries so it’s possible I suppose. But they also make commemorative coins and medals so the Greece connection could be for something other than coins.
For that much? That’s far fetched Tim if its creating nick nacks
The first question which springs to my mind is why were Greece singled out in any case?
Even last year it was a substantial proportion of the “Rest of Europe” figure…
Richard: yes it is a large figure but collector and commenorative coins and coin sets can have very high values, especially if they’re made of fine gold or silver. Nevertheless your question is certainly an interesting one.
