This map - from Spinwatch - shows why current NHS reforms will fail.
They're all about private interests, not the NATIONAL Health Service:
Note who's in there:
McKinsey, KPMG, The King's Fund (yes, I do see them as biased on this issue as the Institute for Fiscal Studies are on tax), Pfizer, Capita, United Helath. Oh the list goes on.
How to capture state revenues for private gain.
This is all about the enclosure of the NHS for the benefit of the few at cost to the many.

Keep exposing this! These companies are circling the wagons and licking their lips. It shouldn’t be hard to find ‘forward looking statements’ in the public company filings of some of these big insurance and drug companies. Lines like “we are optimistic about growing profits in uk due to regulatory changes” would be juicy.
I see the sale of the forests is back on the agenda…..15% to start with…
This information needs to be spread as widely as possible. It shows that this Tory led government is not only intent on allowing private companies to get their hands on NHS funds but taxpayer’s money is withdrawn from all public services and handed to private profiteers.
This is precisely the kind of thing we need.
(It’s the kind of diagram cops use to bust crime rings – in the movies anyway)
Well done Spinwatch.
Note how incestuous the whole system is. And this is not simply about capturing one area of state activity. A similar diagram could be constructed for most policy domains. It is in and through networks such as these that policy making in the UK (and England in particular now the Welsh and Scots are increasingly free to govern themselves) nowadays takes place. Government is basically a cover for corproate capture.
