The Tax Justice Network blog has a great review of the evidence given by veteran US tax justice campaigner Bob McIntyre - the man credited more than any ther with Reagan's 1986 tax reforms - to the Senate Budget Committee on the need for US tax reforms.
It's long.
It's well worth reading.
And as Bob makes clear - the cost of corporates having their noses in the trough is not less than $365 billion a year.
And you wonder why there's a US deficit?

If only there was the resources all round to do more of this analysis and then the cost of the PR to get it across, there would be a complete U-Turn from antipathy on behalf of the public towards this type of behaviour (corruption). Right now, big business, use enormous resources to simply hide this information.
