I’ve got this music bug.
This one is so obvious it’s ridiculous.
“You squander wealth that’s mine” has to be the song about illicit financial flows.
And “we are going to do it anyway” until we right this wrong.

This song is about something more sinister than squandering wealth.
It is about oppression and the fight against that oppression.
Richard, it may interest you to know a little about oppression on the Isle of Man, where of course we make our own laws. It is not unknown for a person to be tried in court without their presence or even their knowledge of the court case and to subsequently have their home arrested as a result to line the pockets of lawyers.
It certainly seems that on this Island greed and injustice knows has boundary.
But I guess you knew that anyway.
Oh, and I won’t mention ‘squandering wealth’. It really would take a book to write about that on the Isle of Man. Mind you, as it transpires, it would seem that it was the UK’s wealth in the first place. 😉
