If you really don't believe how embedded tax haven thinking is in the City of London and in the Conservative party just watch this amazingly stupid video by Mark Field, the Tory MP for the City of London:
Isn't it amazing that here we have an MP actively arguing that a tax haven should undermine UK tax revenues? That is, after all, the only net outcome of the activity he is supporting.
Oh, that and the increase in wealth disparities.

Mmm … or is it? The City of London; but then that explains it!
For Mr. Field to claim that nothing “untoward is going on the Isle of Man” is a triumph for the island’s £multi-million P.R. programme.
But people without vested interest know better.
