I think Chantal Mouffe from my alma mater has worked on this ‘Left meets the Green’ agenda – arguing that a left populism could come out of the need for environmental protection, extending to ‘people protection’ and I think she will be watching the UK Greens with some interest.

Moreover, the fact that Starmer basically turned his back on green issues when a formidable female advocate of the Left was advocating for closer ties tells you all you need to know about the lack of political imagination of the Labour Right and Left?

Stick a fork in their arse and serve up – Labour are done.

Assumptions are dangerous and can kill you or your collages, as a mining engineer I know that only to well. At least in politics you only loose your reputation.
