The Jersey Evening Post has reported that the Lord Mayor of London has invited representatives of Jersey's financial services industry to join him on his overseas tours in the coming year. Evidence, if evidence were needed that Jersey is just a branch of the City, existing with the direct support of the UK establishment.
The move is not too surprising for other reasons. Lord Mayor John Stuttard is a partner in PWC after all. No surprise that he's going out of his way to help the haven then.
