My favourite commentator right now.
I love the comment on trickle down, and the surreal piano commentary in the background.

[…] in Democrat states always see their taxes rise (because that’s implicit in the design). Trump says this will be a ‘big, beautiful tax cut’. But the real question is, will it […]
Ralph Nader has a good take on Trump’s tax reform – worth a listen:

Yes, superb Richard. Probably the best late night host on US TV since Trump became President (which I seem to recall viewing figures confirm).
Incidentally, I have a blog which touches on similar material as well as the synergies between Trumpian Republicans and the Brexit Tory party on Progressive Pulse.

This appears to be amusing. Actually I have to admit that it is.
However what The Donald is doing with regard to further regressive tax regulation is not n the same scale of significance as the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
He’s just declared war on Islam.
This will not be passed over quickly or without enormous bloodshed. And we are complicit (as democrats) if we acquiesce. In a democracy there are no innocents. We all voted. (or had the opportunity to vote). We are all responsible
Our elected government should remonstrate. But will it?.
It cannot afford to offend. It’s looking for a trade deal.
Your fault; my fault.
No hiding place.
