Excellent. Thanks for sharing, Richard. I’ll do the same.
Incidentally, Richard, when do you think the £ will hit the 1 euro mark? And with the £ at nearly $1.20 when does a fall of this magnitude become a crisis? Surely not even the Tories can continue to dismiss this as a “correction”, as the odious IDS and other Brexiteers have been doing this past week.
Now that’s a tough one
The chance is very real
The timing is down to the buffoons in Westminster – but they have the capacity to deliver
Thanks Richard you are too kind. This came via Bernard Little of the Sheffield Green Party who is a long time friend. His major claim to fame (or so he says) is that he persuaded Caroline Lucas to join the Green Party.
Then he did us all a service
Brilliant! Thanks Richard, Sean ad Bernard. I’ll be emailing it across my modest network.
Out of interest has anyone ever explained what a global free trade deal would look like – is there not a risk we just export jobs to the lowest global producer?
Of course there is
the ‘most favoured nation’ clause? Does this mean that say, Australia could do a deal with the Uk separately to the Trans Pacific partnership of which they are a member? I would have though to do that would break the rules of the TPP. The members of the TPP do 40% of the world’s trade-or so i read.
Are here really possible free trade deals to be done? Ones where we have low or zero tariff s on our exports while we do the same for them?
Very funny indeed.
I can only guess that Labour watched it.
As I am at last impressed with Labours Brexit response – 170 question attack, and JCs performance at PMQT!
Well done Labour keep it up!
John Harris may be right, a Labour for the 21st century may be emerging?
Yes indeed – this hits the spot.
Keith Lemon to Gino D’Acampo:
“I’ll phone Brexit. I’ve got them on speed dial!”
Very believable…
