Members of the Special Committee on Tax Rulings (TAXE) will have an exchange views on 1 June 2015 with Mario Monti, Senator and former Prime Minister of Italy, who also served as Commissioner for Competition and Commissioner for Internal Market, Financial Services, Customs and Taxation.
Members will also debate with Richard Murphy, a founding member of the Tax Justice Network that advises on issues such as international taxation, tax competition and its impact, the harmful effects of tax haven activity and flat taxes.
An exchange of views with a whistle-blower will be followed by a panel discussion, to which various multinational corporations have been invited, representing different sectors and geographical areas.
The events are broadcast for the benefit of enthusiasts.
