I was amused by a comment from a journalist I met at the PAC conference yesterday, who assured me he did not wish to sound offensive but suggested I was wittier, more charming and generally personable in reality than this blog would ever suggest possible.
I did not take offence.
I just pointed out that eight years of facing neoliberal comments has an impact on anyone's blogging style.
And I think most people would agree he's right. I'm really not grumpy all the time; just when I blog.
