I didn’t know I was Jeffrey Sachs’s fellow traveller

Posted on

In an Op-ed in the Cariobbean Journal under the title Why Jeffrey Sachs is Wrong on the Cayman Islands it is said that:

We defer to Professor Sachs' fellow traveler and high-taxation advocate, Richard Murphy of the Tax Justice Network.

Well that's all right then.

Mind you, the article is still barking even if it is true I have said Delaware is a bigger issue for corporate opacity than Cayman.

PS They need to practice their insults. In 2010 I was described as the head of the "tax taliban" by Anthony Travers, then chair of Cayman Finance.
