So we now know Trump thinks he is God.
Let's cut to the core of this, although lots of other things could be said: Trump is quite clearly insane if he can permit images like this to be published. He is not God, but thinks he is. The time for the US to remove him from office has arrived.

According to the Guardian, Pope Leo has just been told about a 100 year old ‘religious’ group called Opus Dei, an apparently worldwide secretive society associated with abusing its members in the name of religion. Its aim seems to be to spread right-wing hatred throughout the world, in the name of religion. The Guardian recently published an interview by an investigative journalist with the Pope, who listened and was apparently concerned. If the Pope is trying to do something about this right wing network then Trump may feel somewhat more exposed than normal, hence this attack.

Despite the clearest evidence that tRump is unhinged (and I believe he has been so for most of his life) there will still be many in power that will not be able to call him out. Surely every Labour MP must now speak out and demand that the government cease all cooperation with the US forthwith. It’s a simple act to absolutely and unequivically demonstrate that the UK will not associate with a deranged war criminal any longer, but will it happen??? Further, what of the Kings visit (he is after all the head of the Church of England), surely the government cannot allow this to proceed???
It would be madnesss to allow a state visit now.

It is not the type of belief but rather how the faith is used that makes it abusive.
It begins with dichotomous thinking, diving people into two parts. Those who agree with the narcissists beliefs and those who don’t. Interestingly, only the narcissist is the judge and jury of who belongs on which side. Your opinion is insignificant.
Then the narcissist makes fun of, belittles, and shows prejudice towards other beliefs. This tactic is done to remind you that if you change your views, you will be treated likewise.
Suddenly the narcissist becomes elitist and refuses to associate with people or groups they consider impure or unholy. They prefer isolation and insist you do the same while condemning others who don’t.
Next, the narcissist requires that you completely adopt their point of view. There is no room for differing opinions or questioning their authority. Any voicing of opinions to the contrary are met with threats of abandonment or divorce. There is no free will for you.
Demands of total submission without question follow. You are not free to question their authority and any attempt to do so is met with spiritual, physical, and/or verbal discipline. Name calling, chastising, and the silent treatment are common maneuvers into compliance.
The narcissist is no longer satisfied with private dominion but instead needs the appearance of power in public. They expect strict adherence to whatever image they have created regardless of the accuracy of that image. Even the slightest hint of challenging their facade is met with quick and cruel reprimands.

I note the article doesn’t suggest what happens when the narcissist’s beliefs become widely rejected as is increasingly the case with Trump. Here is a man who is so used to getting his own way that once that ceases to be the case, as with Iran, then things could, I feel, become very dangerous, for all of us.
I find that quite heartening. That picture will alienate and possibly finally waken up a lot of more mainstream evangelical right to the deluded idolatrous heretic they have been supporting. It makes the case for the 25th amendment absolutely clear.

If I can find out anything on the symbolism of the image I’ll let you know, but it is clearly a claim to have supernatural power, he is being looked to by medics and military as a healer and deliverer, with a miraculous anointing, he is supported by angelic beings, and of course the flag identifies USA as the kingdom behind this heavenly power. He is looking more “antichrist” like with every day that passes. Pete Hegseth will thoroughly approve.

I also thought they were meant to be angelic beings. But looking again, the figures appear to be dressed in combat outfits, with one holding some sort of dagger. The image was not only blasphemous, but for Trump to insult and demean the Holy Father was for me a sign that he is totally deluded ! At no time has the Holy Father shown support for any power holding or constructing Nuclear Weapons and for him to say that the Holy Father is disrespectful of Catholics is idiotic! I’m proud to be a Catholic , also proud to have Pope Leo as my blessed Holy Father … Trump only targets those who show for what he is “ A deluded despot” !
