Sometimes, someone who is in a position to know says something that appears to be undoubtedly and incontrovertibly true. This is a headline just released in an email by the Financial Times:

Joe Kent has seen the data. He was, until today, a US insider, a man who knew the intelligence. He was appointed presumably because he could discern the truth from the noise. I think that he has. I also am certain that he is right that Iran posed “no imminent threat to the USA” and that this war was started because of “pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.”
In my opinion any further debate on this issue is now irrelevant. Someone in a position to really know has stated the truth, and I accept it as such.
This war was illegally started by Israel and the USA at the behest of toxic greater Zionists. We are going to pay an enormous price for having tolerated their politics of hate for far too long, and for having also put up for too long with their claim that anyone who questioned what they were doing was antisemitic by definition when in practice it is their position that is fundamentally antisemitic by claiming that Jewish identity must always be wrapped up with genocide and military aggression, and even with the Jewish state. when all of those are wholly inappropriate claims to make, and anyone has a right to criticise the politics promoted by those living within the state of Israel.
It is time to move on and now appraise the consequences of this toxicity for the world, and when doing so we will find that nothing good has come from it, including for upstanding, honest and honourable Jewish people.

I think the war was started by Isreal BECAUSE they were so close to agreement and Isreal couldn’t countenance that. This also with the fact that senators were about to raise a bill that would legally require Congress approval for ANY military action in Iran. These combined forced Isreal and Trump to act, hence their complete lack of planning
Among the honest and honourable Israeli people, must be the journalists of the Haaretz newspaper.
It is not easy to oppose the policy in a country at war.
Agreed
We are now in the age of infamy, surely. Because our future is potentially our enemy. That is the unfortunate conclusion I have come to. How can we begin to make this good I have no idea. It’s going to take some thinking through I’m afraid.
The report in the Guardian also points out that Kent was no arbitrary appointee in the first place. “Joe Kent, director of the National Counterterrorism Center and a far-right political figure and supporter of Donald Trump … “, and “Kent’s campaigns were marred by associations with figures on the far right and white nationalists”. This is someone who was absolutely aligned with the Trump position.
It’s also important to read the G report that suggests Jonathon Powell was an observer at the last round of talks between Iran and the US before the war started, and what his conclusions are reported to have been.
Agreed
When someone like this takes exception to Trump‘s war, we really should take notice

Will this be enough to make Starmer and LINO reconsider their hitherto blind adherence to zionism? Will the grip of the lobby be broken? Sadly, I have my doubts.
Me too.

Joe Kent is an extremist who has mixed with some pretty unsavoury characters. So it’s also good from that perspective that he’s gone. But I’m afraid much more needs to happen before the Orange Plonker smells the coffee. There needs to be more resignations from people who really do have a conscience, and a wider domestic crisis I’m afraid.
Accepeted. Theman is toxic. But he saw the evidemce and it did not stack.

Will this truth about the unlawful war crime actions of the rogue terrorist states of Israel and the USA, percolate down to these litigation-ready organisations and the very focussed Israel-supporting people associated with them?

If you ever find yourself under attack, being accused of “antisemitism”, (because you have criticised Israel or the ideology of Zionism), from any of these individuals or organisations, take qualified legal advice, and then respond robustly.
The days of bullying, SLAPP, and self-censorship are drawing to a close.
“The Truth has got its hat on, hip hip hip hip hooray, the Truth has got its hat on, AND ITS COMING OUT TODAY!”
I should of course not need to (but I do) say that actual antisemitism, statements and actions motivated by “hatred of Jews for being Jews” is a crime worthy of condemnation and sanction, in civil and criminal law.
Wanting Israel, the USA and its leaders brought to the international courts to answer charges and warrants issued there, is NOT antisemitism.
It’s called justice.
@RobertJ
A little bit unfair. It isn’t all one-sided. The CFI (Conservative Friends of Israel) have a long history of having the highest percentage of any Party of its MPs as members.
See Wikipedia:

There is also a LibDemFI group.

Agreed. You are right to mention CFI & LDFI.
I was focussing on those who currently have access to those in power
CFI and the Israel embassy certainly did their stuff on FCO Minister Alan Duncan (See Al Jazeera’s prophetic but largely ignored “The Lobby” films, and Peter Oborne,’s book, “Complicit” – OR Books.)
As if further proof were necessary the following Guardian article today shows that the war was absolutely unnecessary.
UK security adviser attended US-Iran talks and judged deal was within reach | US-Israel war on Iran | The Guardian
The government should cease forthwith to allow the US to use UK bases. It also begs many questions of Starmer particularly what he knew and when.
Jonathan Freedland interviewed an ex-Marine, and he asked whether the US military could turn on the Orange Pest. She thought not, but said that a more likely outcome could be high profile resignations and hopefully where they make clear why they are resigning. Whatever his past allegiance, Joe Kent has now bravely spoken out in truth. The US military will be filled with brave people who cannot be happy with the Idiot in Chief. We can only hope for more truth coming out.
I’ve suspected all along that Mossad has very significant kompromat on Trump. Mossad has a long history of digging up solid information which no other country appears to have and acting on it – viz Eichmann traced to a specific address in Argentina, captured by Mossad and flown to Israel for trial. Trump has long been known to have a shady past and it’s a toss-up whether Mossad or Putin or both of them will drop him in it.
