I am not sure whether he was trying to prove that he is deranged, deluded, in denial and evil, but that is what he succeeded in doing.
The style is deranged.
The gloating over death is evil.
The denial is with regard to facts. If the Iranian forces are in the state he claims, how can they still be fighting back?
The delusion is in believing his own denial.
But what, most of all, I thought when reading this was that in August 1940, Goering told Hitler that the RAF had been destroyed. As a consequence, they change tactics. They then lost the Battle of Britain because they were also deranged, deluded, and in denial, as well as being evil.
The similarities appear remarkably uncomfortable, but remember, it took nearly 5 more years to beat fascism in Europe at that time.

The biggest problem with polarising statements like this one is that those seeking peace get marginalised. That’s part of the intent. Don’t let that happen, everyone.

If they aren’t, we are in big trouble
Whenever reading about anything done by the current US administration or spouted by Trump on social media, I always think “what would Putin want”? Start a war that shuts down oil production that requires you have to buy oil at an inflated price from Russia who will then use those funds to (a) back the enemy you’ve just attacked, (b) rearm to continue the war in Ukraine and (c) marginalise and disconnect Europe from the US. Yes Trump is evil, stupid and delusional but I think someone else is pulling his strings.
Trump does not want peace. Trump wants to win and be seen to win.
Peace in any normal sense is not likely as the US wants to emasculate Iran. The pre war negotiations where the US made no serious attempt to negotiate will seriously hamper any future talks.
The economic fall out is starting. India is facing serious gas shortages, small businesses an important cog in the Indian economy are facing shut downs.
As for the Gulf states all that money paid to the Trump businesses and what happens? You get your economies utterly messed up. Will the Saudis move towards nuclear weapons? Or spend more on weapons?
Peace in the Middle East looks a lost cause in the short term.
Yes – agreed.
And Trump and the American Republican party – the party that presided over the end of slavery (well official slavery anyway) has normalised all four.

Why is Kendzior worried?
Because she is a woman who has carried and brought new life into the world. There are a lot of female writers these days who seem sick of bringing new life into a world without care – more power to them I say. They are the future – I hope.

Trump is a Putin puppe. A puppet merely looks like a human being (but only sometimes). Easing these sanctions will undoubtedly enrich Trump, his family and his ‘entourage’. Ukraine and many others will suffer from Trump’s largesse.
I have come to the conclusion that Trump actually believes his own delusions. What if this is one of his vain dreams that he will conquer in Iran….which I know he won’t…The US tried that in Vietnam just look how that turned out!! Iraq too to a certain extent …nothing gained there except a lot of death and destruction.Trump seems to thrive on chaos but he feels that he is in control we all know he is not.Those who are standing by his side seem to be under the same illusion..That they have…er wait for it God on their side….I am afraid to say they are going to be dreadfully disappointed for nothing will come of this…but more death, destruction and wasting billions of dollars on a war they can’t possibly win!! Two things I have to keep pinching myself about, because I don’t want to get used to them, or think they are in any way normal or inevitable.
1. We have an increasingly delusional lying fascist war criminal convicted felon leading the USA, whose actions are serving the interests of two foreign countries, both also ruled by war criminals.
2. We are not reminded of this every time Trump, Putin and Netanyahu feature in news bulletins and interviews, and every time our own leaders are being interviewed, and speak of 2 of these countries as our “allies”.
I am determined not, at least in my own conversations, to ever let this be forgotten or ignored – because it is not a matter of opinion, it is fact, and we must never get used to it even if our mass media are too compromised to point it out on a daily basis.
Trump is not evil. He is a human being, the product of human society. To label him ‘evil’ exonerates the way humans have allowed terrible people like Trump to gain power, almost passing the buck for such appalling behaviour onto the realms of the supernatural, thus absolving human society of its blame for producing men like Trump.
Trump is a deranged and dangerous force, all too-human, a product of our times.
Pete Hegseth is definitely evil. He is the one who removed the wording from a document which protected civilians from bombing, which is illegal anyway. Thus he was able to kill those little schoolchildren with tomahawks and delight in it. It is Mother’s Day tomorrow in the UK. We should all be thinking of the Iranian mothers whose young girls were murdered by America. There is a poem called In memoriam, written by Avideh, an Iranian poetess, which is heart breaking. I could provide the words but will keep this short. How can we allow this to continue? Britain is not innocent, but as usual we are being lied to by all the media.
