Now the Cambridge event is over (although I still owe people some emails - and please forgive me if I have not written as yet), it's time to promote my next event. This is with Scotonomics on 21 March:
Specifically, I am doing this session:

Tickets for my session can be purchased here.
I gather that around 100 people have booked, leaving around 50 tickets available. Has one of them got your name on it?
Look at the whole festival, too. It takes place in Edinburgh over the 19th to 21st March and is a unique, public-facing celebration of economic thinking designed to challenge, inform, and inspire. The full programme and tickets can be found here: www.scoteconfest.org.

Buy me a coffee!

Nope – too far laddie.
Left home at 06:30 to get to Cambridge, got back at 10:30.
More likely Leeds for me next time.
Leeds is almost certainly going to happen. We might even have a venue by ext week.
I’m saving up for Leeds already. And do have some mugs at hand please.
We are looking at different mugs…
Do you like the ones we did?
See …. That sums up the problem with connectivity! You can get to london quicker. Cambridge is ok for London. Cross-country hopeless.
Sheffield/yorkshire transport poorly served. Though York to Edinburgh fast … But crossing east west at that latitude also rubbish…..
In the meantime, maybe London needs another tunnel….
Almost as if some connectivity is deemed more important than others….
Looking forward to it, making it a full day of lectures and the free session “MMTea and Shortbread”
🙂
“Scortnomics” ??????
Corrected
Booked already. Glad to see you coming to Scotland in the run up to the upcoming election.
Thanks
The mugs?
Yes I did like them – and generous dimensions too for a good full mug of coffee to get the brain into gear.
A simple, effective design I thought.
Thanks
Cheers, Richard. We are delighted that you can make it, and I am really looking forward to interviewing you.
🙂
Thanks
Hi Richard; were it not for America’s latest war, right now I’d be winging my way to Australia for an enjoyable holiday with family in Perth. Small compensation, but nonetheless I’m now looking forward to meeting you again in Edinburgh; last time was in Glasgow, August 2019.
I’d also wanted to attend your event in Cambridge last month, but would have had to make an even earlier start than did PSR. Pilgrim Slight Return is only one of many long-term TaxResearch.org followers that I’d like to meet. Roll on Leeds!
I’ve bought a top-end ScotEconFest ‘Solidarity’ ticket; not sure if that’s a ‘Tommy Sheridan type Solidarity’ or some other sort?
Topped that up with a FREE ticket for MMTea & Shortbread scheduled for earlier that day but in a different venue. Yum yum!
See you in Edinburgh
Adam and I will see you there
Just booked. I had no idea you planned to be there, but really looking forward to it.
Thanks
