I predicted this.
I do think Syarmer will go.
I do not think this will save Labour.
The rottenness is far too deep for that to happen.
The Starmer show is over, but we may suffer a lame duck Labour government for years to come.

What will be the consequences for McSweeney for potentially non-declared donations from rich donors?
Reminds me of the old joke (I think it included Lawyers when I first hear it),

There is nothing in the media investigating Epstein’s connection with Israel.

Open question, given McSweeney characterised Starmer as a DLR train (just runs on auotmatic) with natch, McSweeney and his crew in control, who now will provide the politcal direction that Starmer patently lacks.
Or perhaps this is all moot, the May disaster for LINO is less than 3 months off and it is likely to be a wipe out, Another message to Starmer: large parts of the country despise you and LINO. The 80 MPs needed to support a candidate to “unseat Starmer as LINO leader now looks to be a distinct hindrance. LINO doomed whatever they do.
Meanwhile there is the Tory-Deform party, the Lib-Dems and the Greens (remind me how they are politically and operationally structured… oh!).
Gosh, some many choices, shit, not great and “nice faces, nice narrative, what is party policy?”
We need transparency, not only about the already exposed crooks, but on those cirrently manouevering to replace Starmer.
Who are your donors? (Party, CLP, Constituency office personal freebies, clothes, specs, tickets, holidays, flights etc)
Why do they donate?
How were you selected, prior to election (parachuted-in or local)?
What was wrong with the local candidate you replaced?
What were YOUR links with Epstein, and Mandelson and Israel and Trump?
What are the differences or similarities between war crimes in Ukraine/Russia, and those in Israel/Palestine?
How many Tweets have you deleted this year? Can we see them/let’s discuss this deleted tweets archive?
Where does government spending come from?
What is the role of taxation?
Do you support Starmer’s Ten Pledges?
Should the Board of Deputies interfere in party leadership elections?
Did you support Starmer’s cancellation of his Ten Pledges?
Are you/were you associated with Labour Together? Or Labour Friends of Israel?
Do you believe Israel should be investigated by international courts for war crimes?
If any indicted Israelis arrived in our UK jurisdiction, would you want them arrested?
Where are your primary loyalties?
What do YOU mean by “Change” (please be specific)?
Of course they will lie, but the questioning must be public, relentless, FORENSIC even.
Cooper, Lammy, Streeting, Rayner, Powell, Phillipson, Reed, Reynolds.
Will our media do it? Of course not. And Labour certainly won’t. Yet this is a PM being appointed.

Peter Oborne (along with others) has characterised Starmer as the monkey to McSweeney’s organ grinder (Labour Together: what an ironic name)!
So who’ll now crank the organ handle: or will the whole ‘bandwagon’ simply be wheeled away?
