I was on Scotonomics last night, discussing the Taxing Wealth Report, and right at the end its relevance for Scotland.
For reasons I can't explain the YouTube link will not embed here, but you can watch the video by clicking here.

I am not averse to imbibing a large helping of humble pie and I do so having watched that interview. Also, I sent my email to you suggesting my misgivings about the report having not actually read it. Now I have, albeit cherry picking, and in particular the last section, I admit that it is fully consitent with the spend then-tax-dialogue rather than the tax-in-order-to-spend one.
I hope you will give me credit for being an absolute MMT fanatic with which I had thought the report was at odds. It clearly is not.
Please accept my apologies for doubting you.
Finally, I have always been bemused by whatever it can have been that made Bill Mitchell so upset with you. You might remember that I supported you at the time he wrote that withering blog.
Thanks Nigel
You are more than forgiven
I have a feeling that if Bill was locked in a room he would come out with bruises, having had a fight with himself
