I posted this on TikTok and YouTube today. We are now co-ordinating the release of both (and will get to Instagram in due course) and so I will be posting the YouTube versions here in future:

Richard, you have a fantastic future in deadpan stand up comedy.
“Rachel Reeves who drives the intellect of the Labour party” – I had to stop the vid there – cracked up with laughter. Always good to start the weekend on a note of hysterical laughter.
I hope Sunak gives me & the others enough time to organise – cos if he does, LINO are going to have a fight on their hands & it ain’t going to be against the Tories.
Glad to be of service, sir
Very well said.
All true. They have no plan; but Richard, that is the exact words Sunak uses ……
It is the only argument Downing Street has left to promote; we are rubbish and unfit for office, but Labour have no plan.
Wes Streeting on whether Labour is ready for government. Spot the utter contradictory ignorance!
“He said a Labour government’s economic inheritance would make investment difficult – but said that the shadow chancellor, Rachel Reeves, had consistently prioritised the NHS when it came to spending priorities.
Streeting said that he was “not indifferent” to arguments that sending people private could cost the NHS more but suggested that his hands were tied by the lack of capacity in the service.”

Spot the similarity to Richard’s argument about the BoE hiking base rate.
The short answer is “No!”
‘No plan’ – both you and Sunak – as JSW says .
It does seem true – although tLabour have their advisory panels – but as you say , seem to be loaded with – ‘no money — carry on austerity’ people.
As Frances Ryan says – Labour have long ago givenup any idea of trying to get people to vote for them by persuading them there is a different, better way to do things – and that ‘there is money’.They jJust rely on people’s revulsion from Tories – while not promising to do anything different.

I have recently become even more aware of the seriousness of the global Koch funded network of think tanks (indluding Tufton Street) , bought and sold politicians etc. with a plan to infiltrate and take over all the previously independent institutions of democracy.
This seems to be a major factor behind the spread of quasi fascism in many countries, including Trump and Brexit. This is what ‘we’ – 90% of people – are up against .
The version of Labour we now have, could have been designed in Tufton Street. It will be brilliant if RIchard’s ‘Labour has no plan’ TitToks take off – but there seems to be a hell of a way to go.

Maybe we need an equally serious deeply thought out plan to take back democratic control througout the world, but that would mean reigning in the global corporates and dark money – its a hell of a call.
Maybe it will mean thinking through Marx’s ‘internal contradictions’ of the system in a modern context to see what the potential might be.
Frances was right today
If I could make a suggestion, when you cut to the descriptive pictures, would it be possible to maintain the subtitles? As it stands, I’m missing fairly large chunks of dialogue when the subtitles disappear.
Ok will ask Thomas…..
I’m surprised that you repeat the current Tory slogan “Labour have no plan”.
Brainwashing works.
As soon as they announce plans the Tories adopt them, as they have no idea what they are doing.
Labour will address inequalities, but the Tories have desecrated the country & they will have to make positive changes as & when they can.
Adopt some of your tax reforms for a start.
Labour has no plan…..
Even the Conservatives tell the truth occasionally, although perhaps they do so by mistake. However, Labour has no plan.
If you think they have, perhaps you can tell me their plan for dealing with the failings in many areas of public services caused by underfunding. What is their plan for dealing with child poverty.
If your answer to that is ‘growth’, what is their plan to achieve growth?
In this case the Tories are right; Labour has no plan, at least, if they have one, it is a very well kept secret, and in this case the electorate deserves to know what it is before the election. We can all fantasize about the wonderful things Labour will do once in power, but I prefer to base my voting choice on definite proposals than on wild speculation.
The Tories are delaying the election so that this becomes more obvious
