I just put this on Twitter, having apparently sent it from Earth:
Those are my sentiments here, too.
Please forgive me if I am not an active respondent today. I am taking my Covid Christmas slowly, but do feel a bit better this morning, and a little guilty. I have been banished from the kitchen.
Go well.

So this is Christmas
And what have you done
Another year over
And a new one just begun.
War is over, if you want it.
Happy Christmas everyone.
And to you
Go well
Merry Xmas Richard, and I hope you make a full recovery soon.
Thanks
You are so brave to preserve in the face of the disabling effects of covid.. you are an inspiration to us all, a true leader of the left and i thank you from the bottom of my heart..
I had no expectations today, especially after the tour de force you delivered the other day.
Time to recharge Richard – it’s quality not quantity our problems require in their solving. Never mind ‘going well’: eat well and get well.
Peace and goodwill to all – even to those who do not allow it.
Thanks
Rest up. Get well. 2024 is going to be a rough ride.

2024 will be better than the end of 2023. I gave my wife Covid for Christmas
I hope you both get well soon.
While there was a lot of cooking going on and we had candles in the living room, we didnt have any heating on yesterday and the house (1960’s with added insulation) was decidedly hot.
It was a weirdly warm Christmas Day
I hope you had a lovely day Richard, despite the covid. Have a happy new year too and take a break – you deserve it and need it.
Thanks for all of the great work and education you’ve been doing for us all. I have faith that 2024 will be a better year, despite the big challenges we will face.
Thanks Chris
