Apologies to those who cannot access Twitter.
"The Tories are at around 20% support. If he wants to turn it into 16, go ahead and cut inheritance tax Jeremy."

The Tories either:-
1. really do believe in trickle down.
2. are past caring.
3. know that those tax cuts will make their way into the party coffers for the next campaign.
Maybe the Tory game is a long one? When they get into power they have as much fun as possible, get turfed out and then sit back and wait for the next opportunity to have fun at everyone’s expense?
It still astounds me though that they seem to have no real idea about the havoc they cause.
We’ve tolerated them for too long.
Tory support is now down to two main groups; the very wealthy and City who stand to benefit from tax cuts but care little about the wider economy and society. Their main donors.
Then the ‘socially conservative’ who respond to nationalist, xenophobic and racist dog whistles, even when they are voting against their own real interests. Egged on by the muckier end of the media – the usual suspects.
On a cheerier note, judging by the polls they are in the minority,
So 2 groups then Robin.
1) The “clever”, utterly selfish and cynical rich.
2) The bitter, resentful and guillible poor.
Impressive eh?
That second group cuts across income and class. Or to put it another way, Sun and Express readers as well as Mail and Telegraph readers.
