This came to mind this morning:
I could not find a video of George Harrison singing it, but I do anyway like many of the versions of his songs sung at the Concert for George in 2002, after his death, and he had a close working relationship with Jeff Lynne who does lead vocals here.
The sentiments appear apt today.

I agree with your sentiments and comments here. I also was a fan of Harrison, and of the Beatles.
Yes, they do.
Here is a live George Harrison version of the song.

A beautiful memory. I wept for the human condition and am enraged by the military industrial complexes that dominate far too many governments.
Hope this helps Richard

That looked like a Traveling Wilburys lineup, but they did not appear to have recorded it.
Tom Petty was there too
Great song and very apt. I’ve been listening to a song by Bill Callahan this morning “I Feel Like the Mother of the World” which has a great video on Youtube.
I’ll be attending a peace march in Aberdeen this afternoon; thankfully the government’s actions don’t seem to have managed to rile up any nationalistic thugs up here so I’m hoping for a peaceful and respectful walk.
