I have, as far as I know, never met Dr Dan Goyal. We have, however got to know each other through Twitter, where we seem to have a mutual admiration for each other's work.
Dan is a an NHS medical consultant, Covid doctor and academic. He also has a PhD in neurosciences. He works in the north west of Scotland.
Dan has just launched his own podcast, called The Cure, which is a name I like at many levels. I listened to the first episode yesterday and thought it well worth my time. In it he justifies his support for the junior doctors strike. This is it:

You had a cure for it all along.
I was reading an article in Labour Heartlands about the number of covid bail-outs handed to companies with links to tax havens, and came across this. If only the government had given the £5 billion to the NHS to pay for doctors, we wouldn’t have to beg them not to move to Australia or the US.

Was I in that?
I have a feeling I might have been
aLurker, I see you’ve put the link up while I was watching it – again.
That was last year, and Doctor Bob gets more and more irate as time passes. The Great NHS Heist was 2019, pre-pandemic, but you can see from it why we were not prepared for it. You can also see why we will not be prepared for the next one, along any time soon.
Bob Gill appears on nottheandrewmarrshow just about every week now.
