Some people may note that the way in which donations can be made to help the cost of delivering this blog has changed from today. I am now using Ko-fi to do this, the suggestion being that you might wish to buy me a coffee (black Americano, if you're doing so). There will be a link at the end of every post, including this one.
I am aware that the PayPal system that I was using could be annoying by setting up a monthly payment when that was not someone's intention. I certainly do not wish to annoy those wishing to donate, so I have changed the mechanism, although you can opt for monthly donations through Ko-if if you want to do so.
I stress that I hope that this blog will always be free to read. But when I am doing major work on it, as I am at present with the glossary due to go live very soon, then contributions do help defray costs are appreciated, but I never intend to make them a condition of reading.
Meanwhile, if you were making donations under the old system, first of all thank you and, second, you need do nothing: that system will still exist for those already donating. Your support is appreciated.

I think you should drink tea instead. China tea, preferably without milk. Lots of choice. I realize that all teas come from the same plant, the differences among them coming from the differences in how the various teas have been processed. I would only suggest not drinking smoky teas, as there appears to be some evidence that this can lead to cancer. How robust this evidence is, i do not know.
