Excellent interview Richard! More “plain speaking” like this is desperately needed. It’s odd that while the media loves the cheap drama from conflict, when it comes to economics, and especially government finance, the (Thatcherite/neoliberal) orthodoxy is hardly ever contested in the main news programmes.
