This investigation into the fishing industry might help people to understand why Brexit fishing negotiations are so important to the Tories.

Brilliant! One to share.
Thanks for sharing Richard. Very kind of you.
It’s hard to make ‘light’ of things so dark and damaging, but music can always find a way. And sometimes a light touch can more easily deliver a heavy message!
Best wishes.
Mark
I like them mark
And I’m in awe of anyone with ability like yours
Brilliant! Really enjoyed that – it certainly covered some grim themes, but still made me laugh. I liked the bit of Greig thrown in too – was that for dramatic effect maybe?!
I loved it
To reply to Contrary abt Grieg.
Although most people know the title of that piece as ‘In The Hall Of The Mountain King’, the king being referred to there is the Troll King. This seemed entirely appropriate in a song concerning Trump: a true Troll King of our times.
And yes, dramatic effect, for sure. But also because I could (just about) get away with rudely shoving Mendelssohn’s Wedding March melody over the top of it.
Glad you enjoyed it.
Aha! The Wedding March – I am rubbish at naming pieces, but I knew I recognised something else in there 😉 I do love Peer Gynt so usually recognise all the movements for that, and yes I thought the race down the mountain away from the Troll King quite,,, appropriate.
I’m also in awe, as Richard is, of such amazing talent – I can’t hold a tune to save myself. I’ve played instruments in my youth, but it was all very much by rote; composition is in an entirely different league. Great stuff!
