One per cent of Jersey’s population took part in a Black Lives Matter demonstration

I am known as a critic of Jersey. But that is unfair. I love Jersey - it's a fantastic place. I have been a critic of the tax haven in Jersey and the politics that supports it. That is why I have written 713 blog posts about the island.

But this is good news from Jersey and shows another side to the place. One per cent of its population took part in a Black Lives Matter protest this weekend, with social distancing taking place. This is from the Jersey Evening Post:

That shows another side to the place, and I take my hat off to all involved. One per cent of the island's population turned out for this. Not many places could say that.
