A decade on it’s time to stop Google’s tax abuse

Posted on

It's a decade ago that I contributed to the first ever story on Google's tax affairs and the need for reform. In the process I created a methodology for appraising the tax lost that has withstood the test of time.

Today The Mirror has the latest version of that story. Alex Cobham of the Tax Justice Network crunched the numbers, and I provide the commentary.

The abuse, and the losses, go on.

We know how to stop this. I explain how in the article. It's time to get on and do it.
