Safe journey, and make sure you chase the doctor about that hip, when you get back!
🙂
Hope you’re home safely and have had a caffeine shot, or two, to keep you awake.
Strongly recommend hip replacements. I’ve had both done – hugely successful. The NHS at its best. Happiness is pain-free mobility. In hindsight I never understood why I kept putting it off. Just do it!
No significant pain…..yet!
I’ll buckle when there is
Safe journey.
Thanks

Feeling tired….
Need coffee
Coffee?
Since coming back from Berlin it just has to be German coffee for me. Phwor! Its Jacobs or Dalmayr from now on in our house.
Mind you – how long will I be able to get for?
It;s just the price that will change….
Don’t worry – there will be spivs with packs of coffee tucked under their overcoats happy to sell them to you for a price!
Coincidentally we have just stocked up on our preferred (modest) brand of beans as they keep being in short supply. Increasing numbers of gaps on the shelves
Get the hip replacement whilst you are still young enough to have good bone density – then opt for the Birmingham hip which has a much longer life than the full replacement. Had mine 8 years ago and back to rowing, kayaking, waking – all pain free. Brilliant treatment on the NHS!
