It has been a bit of a week. The consequence has been twofold. The first is that almost none of the work that I intended to do has been done. And second that means I am not on holiday next week as planned.

It also means that I may be a slow in dealing with comments on the blog over the next day or two. I simply have to do some other things and responding to 100+ comments, as have been happening some days this week, is a big task.

So I will not be ignoring comments, or blocking them (unless they contravene my comments policy which is in place to preserve my time for useful tasks that time wasters would rather I did not undertake). I will, at least sometimes, simply be getting on with life beyond this blog. Occasionally that is necessary.
