Of course the right wing press will say this was a mistake.
But if the message is tax justice, I'm more than happy for it to be heard.

As Brand has 1.1 million subscribers – many doubtless in the age cohorts, the younger cohorts, that tend not to vote, but who might think it worthwhile voting for a Government that promises to deal with tax abuse – it’s hardly surprising the Tories would seek to rubbish this encounter, which must surely have put the frighteners on them.
If it persuades 10,000 to vote it’s worth it
OF course criticism comes from supporters of a party leader who took Andy Coulson into the heart of government, has his picture taken with Katie Hopkins and amongst his friends in the Chipping set are people like Rebekah Brooks and Jeremy Clarkson.
I watched this – it is brave and Milliband is sincere but so little detail from Ed…………………….
The full version is to come
There are some very positive comments emerging from younger people this morning and that is really good.
This Miliband chap has something about him. He pulled it off.
However, for me to vote for him, he needs to get rid of the benefit cap, stop austerity, stop Trident and get out of TTIP. Sorry Ed.
There are some very positive comments from younger voters this morning about this and that is great.
This Miliband chap has something about him. Maybe under-rated somewhat? But he may have pulled this off.
However, it’s not enough for me. I want to see the benefit cap, Trident, austerity and TTIP stopped before I vote Labour. All these Tory shackles must be got rid of first. Sorry Ed.
Ed Miliband says tax dodging must be dealt with both internationally, and nationally.
Suggest he fill out both pictures. greens have done so.
We want to tax where the equipment, land and people are. Not just wait for offshore mini countries to tax offshore assets and ghost companies.
Internationallyt this is a key topic of our constructive engagement with Europe.
Nationally it is crucial to locate tax both at the personal and corporate levels.
Personally the rich just pay more tax on profits, on earnings where they hide a lot of profit, and on assets. By taxing the largest assets every year, the Mansion tax hits the right people.
At a corporate level the unit must become not the Company by taxing the Enterprise ie a site. Not at the higher company level.
I think Russell Brand has the Tories spooked.
This could well prove to be a smart chess move form Milliband.
Hope so.
Based on this short interview, I don’t find Miliband very convincing. “First we have to do something internationally…”. Surely not. Is this his escape chute? If other countries don’t come to the table on this, will he wash his hands of it all?
That is not what the manifesto says
That says there will be a national back up
