Decision time: tax avoidance discussed on the BBC – and Caroline Lucas carries the day

Posted on

This BBC Radio 4 programme, broadcast yesterday, is well worth listening to (even though you may need to keep calm when Digby Jones is talking complete and utter clap trap and Fraser Nelson promotes tax avoidance).

The link is here.

I should declare an interest: I advised the programme creators and I do, of course, work with Caroline Lucas MP.

I'm delighted it gave publicity to her Bill to tackle tax avoidance now before the Commons. I admit, I also had a hand in that.

Good to note that 84% of people believe tax avoidance is wrong even if companies have an apparent duty to do it.
