And not liking it much
I am not surprised that Ireland gains from its tax haven activities.
When I looked at the numbers and realised the scale of it, I found it quite amazing. It is not only unfair on other countries, it is also quite foolish because it leaves them so vulnerable to changes the US or the EU – or even decisions by a handful of big companies.
My question now is: if Obama can act to stop this, why not other EU countries, who must also be losing a lot of revenues?
