Breakfast with the President

In the light of my recent post entitled 'Pause for thought: Santiago', it was a pleasant surprise to meet President Bachelet herself in the Palace on Thursday. She's an impressive person with the charisma to avoid the dirt that usually sticks in politics. And she's well briefed on the significance of tax evasion for development.

That's what I came to talk about. I think I can safely say it's been worthwhile.
